Your Neighbors, Your Trainers

Most trainers drive in from somewhere else. We live and work in Franklin Square, so when we say in-home, it is a short ride down the block.

That matters here. Franklin Square sits in the Town of Hempstead on small, tight lots where homes are a few feet apart and the streets stay quiet. A barking, pulling, or anxious dog is not just your problem, it is something every neighbor hears. We train your dog in the exact place the behavior happens: your living room, your yard, and your walk route, not a strange facility across the county. Many families see a real change in the first session.

About Franklin Square

A Town Built For Families And Dogs That Fit Right In

Franklin Square is a stable, close-knit hamlet in the Town of Hempstead, fully built out since the early 1950s, with prewar brick homes on small lots and well-kept, tree-lined streets. Hempstead Turnpike and Franklin Avenue form the commercial spine, lined with old-school Italian spots and the German halls the town is known for. Rath Park anchors the south side with its pool and ball fields, and the Southern State Parkway runs along the bottom edge.

All of that shapes the dogs we train. Lots are tight, so a reactive dog sets off the whole block. The streets are full of kids on bikes, so a jumpy puppy has to learn manners early. The walk usually runs toward the Turnpike or the park, so leash control around traffic and other dogs is not optional. We grew up training in these exact conditions, which is why the work sticks.

Franklin Square Questions

What Local Owners Ask

Where in Franklin Square do you train?
Everywhere inside it. We are based on Polk Avenue, so we train in homes across the 11010, from the blocks off Hempstead Turnpike to the quiet streets near Rath Park. The work happens in your house and on your walk route, not at a facility.
Do you come to my home, or do I bring the dog to you?
We come to you. Every Franklin Square program is in-home, because your dog learns fastest around its real triggers: the front door, the yard, the leash, and the family routine.
My neighbors are close and my dog barks at everything. Can you help?
Yes. On the tight lots common in Franklin Square, barking and reactivity are two of the most frequent reasons people call us. We work it in the exact spot where it happens, with no prong or e-collars.
Do you train puppies?
Yes. Puppy training is one of our most requested Franklin Square programs, covering house training, crate work, biting, and early manners built for busy family homes on small lots.
How much does in-home dog training in Franklin Square cost?
It depends on your dog and your goals, so we keep it straightforward and talk it through on a free consultation. Call (516) 715-5398 and we will walk you through the options that fit your home.
